Founded by Blessed Frederic Ozanam in the spirit of charity.  St Vincent de Paul Society, a lay Catholic organisation of men and womenwho provide  service to the needy, visiting them in their homes. Established in 1954 with the mission to practise Christ-like love and compassion to aid, affirm and evangelize to our friends in need.

Our Society meets at 8pm on Mondays (except for public holidays) at Emmaus House. The needy are given rations and cash aid at the start of each month. We depend on the monthly second collection at weekend Masses and other donations to finance our mission.

We visit a welfare home monthly as a group to render service and treat the residents to a refreshments and token gifts while entertaining them with hymns and popular evergreen songs. Our parish’s Filipino group often joins us in these visits.
