Established in 1936, St David's Choir aims to give thanks, glory and praise to God through sung prayer. The choir also adds beauty and solemnity to the liturgy while encouraging the singing of the entire congregation at each Eucharistic celebration.
We sing at the 9.15am Mass on Sundays and practices are held after mass from 11.00am to 12.30pm. We also sing for weddings, carolling events and other liturgical celebrations.
The unique part of this choir is that it was built on a family concept, and we have managed to keep it special in this way. We recruit members who have reasonably good vocals or play musical instruments reasonably well to join our choir.
