The family that prays together stays together. It can't be more heavily stressed that parents, as models, are their childrens' "first Catechists", and therefore formation initiatives should also include parents. In other words, the parish encourages parents to get more involved in catechism sessions which their children attend. By becoming involved and engaged in the formation of their children through Catechism, the focus would inevitably shift towards the formation of the whole family, and not just the children.
We are the Church and our focus for the families has always been simple. We try and analyse and understand the needs of the parish and help in pastoral work among families. Our aim is to enable families to become communities of life and love. Families who become the cradles of faith, by living and making prayer a part of their daily lives such as, beginning the day with a prayer and saying grace before meals and before bedtime. We try and bring families together through social events such as barbecues and movie nights.
