THE BIBLE AND THE SACRAMENTS - NEW COURSE

BibleSacraments

Popular speaker and author Matthew Leonard presents the deep mysteries and truths of the Sacraments in this new video series. Allow the Sacraments to come alive in a whole new way through exploring their origin, their purpose and their foundational role in our Catholic faith.

Our parish will begin the 11-week video study on Tuesday, 16th January 2018. Thereafter, you have the option of attending the Tuesday evening session at 7.45pm or the Wednesday morning session at 10am. For more information and to register, please click here. ADVENT DAY OF RECOLLECTION

AdventDOR2017

This year's Advent Day of Recollection has the theme "Rest in Christ". Come join us in a day of personal reflection, led by lay spiritual director Lance Ng, from the Kingsmead Centre. Let God speak to you personally and experience His love in Jesus Christ.

Date: Saturday, 2 December 2017

Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm, followed by Sunset Mass (Registration starts at 8am)

Venue: Main Church Hall

This day of recollection is free. But please register early for catering purposes.

SPES NOVUM: A NEW HOPE

The Cor Novum choir consists of current members, alumni and friends of our very own Genesis II Choir. They are a project-based fundraising choir formed in 2016. Their next concert is Spes Novum: A New Hope, with all proceeds going to the Catholic Foundation. It will sacred music and traditional favourites, including Magnificat (John Rutter), Veni Sancte Spiritus (Morten Lauridsen) and When You Believe from The Prince of Egypt original soundtrack.

When: Sunday, 3rd December, 8pm

Where: Cathedral of the Good Shepherd

Tickets are now on sale at $22 per person.

 

GOSPEL OF ST MATTHEW

Fr. Eugene Vaz will be conducting 14 sessions on the Gospel of St Matthew. Sessions are every Friday from 8:00pm to 9:45pm. You are still welcome to join in even though sessions have already begun on August 4th. This exciting study explores the life and mission of Jesus, and will help us to understand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today.
